Alat supports the inauguration of Lenovo's Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META) Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant step in Lenovo's regional expansion and continued investment in the Kingdom. Inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Fahad Al-Saif, Minister of Investment, and Tareq Alangari, SVP and President, Lenovo META, the headquarters is core to Lenovo's strategic collaboration with Alat and will serve as a central hub for its regional operations, strengthening engagement across key markets, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's position as a destination for global technology leaders and underlining Lenovo's long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia.

Through its strategic partnership with Lenovo, Alat supports the development of a fully integrated manufacturing ecosystem in Riyadh, including a large-scale facility designed to produce up to two million devices annually under the "Made in Saudi Arabia" label. This is complemented by national talent development initiatives, where Saudi engineers are trained at Lenovo's global manufacturing sites and return to the Kingdom to apply their expertise. During a recent site visit, a cohort of 28 Saudi graduate engineers who completed training abroad were welcomed back to Riyadh, reflecting the tangible progress of these efforts. Together, these initiatives strengthen industrial capability, accelerate knowledge transfer, and enhance the development of a skilled Saudi workforce in advanced electronics manufacturing.
