Alat and Lenovo have marked a significant milestone in their strategic collaboration with the unveiling of the first Lenovo laptop manufactured in Saudi Arabia. Produced in Riyadh and unveiled at LEAP 2026, the device marks an important step forward in building advanced technology manufacturing capabilities in the Kingdom.

Mass production is expected to begin in late 2026 at Lenovo's manufacturing facility in Riyadh, which is set to produce a portfolio of devices including laptops, desktops, Motorola smartphones and servers. The collaboration is also building Saudi capabilities, with the first cohort of Saudi engineers completing specialized training at Lenovo's global manufacturing facilities.

The milestone advances the strategic collaboration between Alat and Lenovo to establish long-term technology manufacturing capabilities in Saudi Arabia, accelerating knowledge transfer, skilled job creation and the Kingdom's ambition to become a global hub for advanced manufacturing under Saudi Vision 2030.
